Wilson On-the-Spot Awards

This award recognizes individuals:
- who have exemplified one (or more) of our core values: Compassion, Equity, Collaboration, Innovation and Sustainability
- and who have unexpectedly come to your rescue or brightened up your day
Eligible to receive the award: Wilson College Community – all faculty, staff, postdocs, graduate students, undergraduate students
Who can nominate for this award: Wilson College permanent employees
All nominees are recognized via:
- email to employee and their unit leader or email to student
- included in a internal communication from the Dean
Prize: Swag item for first nomination of the fiscal year

This monthly award recognizes meritorious service to the Wilson College of Textiles community through a contribution of improving the overall well being of the college and/or its public constituents.
- It is reflective of the recipient’s positive attitude, creativity and contributions that exceed their normal responsibilities.
- Exemplified one (or more) of our core values: Compassion, Equity, Collaboration, Innovation and Sustainability.
- The staff member must be in good HR standing.
- Nominations can roll over for 3 additional months (considered for up to 4 months).
Eligible to receive the award: Wilson College staff that fit the above criteria
Who can nominate for this award: Wilson College permanent employees
Award is given:
- Monthly but award is only given if criteria is met.
- If a nomination is received that does not meet criteria, it is then converted to a Wilson On-the-Spot Award and the nominator is notified.
Winners are chosen by Staff Awards Subcommittee.
All winners and nominees that meet criteria receive a letter from the dean about nomination and are put in the pool for Awards for Excellence awards, Pride of the Wolfpack awards.
Prize: $150 check
